MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE 

To create engaging content for social media, digital marketing and blog posts, manage and develop the Company website and provide commercial administrative support to the MD, Head of Marketing and the Sales team to ensure high customer satisfaction. This role is best suited to a recent graduate who is looking for a wide and varied first role within a fast paced business setting.

 

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance and Technical teams. Externally work closely with Marketing Agencies, Brand Bank, Customer Web Sites and Trade press publications. Work cross functionally with Dunstable teams and other Cafea Group sites.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & implement a creative strategy to increase the number of followers for Cafea UK LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook pages in line with targets.
  • Work & liaise with other Group social media contacts to share ideas and content.
  • Manage the Cafea UK website, ensuring it is kept updated and fresh.
  • Be responsible for the Cafea UK internal communication strategy to ensure all employees are kept up to date and informed.
  • Create pack designs using Adobe Photoshop or Canva for customer presentations.
  • Monitor Cafea UK customers’ web sites to ensure they have the correct Brand Bank images, descriptive text, meta tags and suggest ways of optimising taxonomy to benefit Cafea
  • Manage online visibility of current vacancies on our website and our recruitment process alongside the Head of Human Resources
  • Administratively support the Sales and Marketing team to grow Cafea UK business keeping accurate and up to date records.
  • Office and administrative support, as required. Including, but not exclusively; preparing for customer meetings, organising events & staff briefings, ordering and despatching samples, organising customer gifts.
  • Be the Cafea UK contact for trade press releases; including The Grocer, The Caterer, Asian Trader etc. Be the Cafea UK contact for Das Neuste company magazine, ensure Cafea content or editorial is submitted each quarter
  • Manage Cafea UK’s relationship with Grocery Aid, including organising customer and Cafea attendance at industry events and the maintenance of our Gold Grocery Aid status
  • Support the Cafea UK NPD process to ensure new launches are as smooth as possible.
  • Be an ambassador for the Cafea UK business within our customers and in the wider UK Grocery market
  • Be a key member of the Marketing team. Work collaboratively with peers from other parts of Cafea UK and the Cafea Group to ensure the growth and success of the
    business, including contributing ideas and sharing knowledge and experiences

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

A recent graduate with a relevant degree; business, media or marketing.

Essential

  • Able to demonstrate a knowledge of digital marketing and social media
  • Knowledge of using Photoshop & or Canva
  • Experience editing and creating videos and photographs
  • PC literate with good Microsoft office skills.
  • Excited by the idea of working within a commercial environment and being part of a fast-paced dynamic team
  • Full UK driving license, with use of a car
